Now you have come to the page, Choose variable. This page give you the oportunity to select which variables and values you want to display in your result of the table. A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. It always starts with the statistics variable which is the main value counted in the table.

From 2018, the figures for Longyearbyen also include some other ports on Svalbard. 'Norway - Unspecified, annual survey' is from the year 2016 divided into 'Unspecified, Northern Norway' and 'Unspecified, Southern Norway' and some smaller public ports. For more information, see 'about the statistics'. The ports of Leka, Nærøy and Vikna-Rørvik are as of the 1st of January 2016 incorporated into one single reporting unit ¿ The port of Nord-Trøndelag, Rørvik. Wrong distribution of foreign/domestic transport was corrected on the 23rd of november 2017. Sandessjøen Port is included in the figures for the Helgeland Port from the third quarter of 2018. Prior to 2019, stones loaded in Svelgen (Bremanger) were reported as other liquid bulk goods. Figures for 1st ¿ 3rd quarter 2019 were updated for some ports 30 July 2020. The 2019 figures for the ports Austevoll, Brekstad (Ørland), Sømna, Fauske and two private ports in 'Northern Norway, unspecified' are estimated on the basis of 2018.
