Municipal elections 2023 and 2019
The municipal council and county council elections 2023 were held on 11 September 2023. There were elections for 357 different municipal and city councils, as well as 14 county councils. This report is only about the local council elections, for the entire country as a whole.
Pessimistic expectations for the 1st quarter in Manufacturing
Norwegian industrial managers report a moderate decline in production in manufacturing in the 4th quarter. New orders fell for both the domestic market and the export market. The general expectations for the 1st quarter of 2024 are moderate positive for producers of capital goods, while the majority of producers of intermediate goods and consumer goods expect a negative development.
Salmon price in the period of January 8th – January 14th
In the period of January 8th – January 14th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 108.85 per kilo, down by 3.6 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.
