Department for economic statistics

The Department of economic statistics is responsible for the development and production of national and financial accounts, public finances, price statistics, financial market statistics and foreign trade statistics. The department is also responsible for the international development cooperation where Statistics Norway contributes to the development of statistical systems and capacity building in developing countries through institutional cooperation.
