Department for social statistics

The Department of social statistics produces ongoing statistics and develops new statistics. The department conducts analyses in its field for external clients. The areas covered range from the population, education, income conditions, labour market, health and living conditions. The department also works with researchers in their own institution to use the statistics to better understand the relationship between policy formulation and changing framework conditions for the population of Norway. The department is responsible for lending micro data to external researchers.
