Department for methodology and data collection

The department is responsible for three areas: methodology, data collection for surveys and industry statistics, as well as operational support. This includes developing quality assurance methods for the statistics, streamlining and developing data capture tasks and reorganising operational tasks with the aim of freeing up time for more analysis work in Statistics Norway.
