General terms of use for StatBank

StatBank is a database where the user can compile tables and create figures and maps. The database contains figures in tables that form part of and are linked to the statistical publications, and enables users to create more detailed tables than the published tables. The main source for the tables is Statistics Norway, but tables are also sometimes sourced from other producers of statistics in Norway who have given their consent to the inclusion of the figures.

Reuse of the material

The content and layout of these web pages are copyright protected.

Statistics Norway permits material on this website to be freely stored electronically, printed out, duplicated and forwarded to other parties provided that the source of the material is referenced (Source: Statistics Norway).

When using the material on the Internet, we recommend using a direct link to our web-based service rather than showing a copy of the material.

Statistics Norway does not bear any responsibility for incorrect use of the statistics.

Availability

Statistics Norway endeavours to ensure a high degree of availability, but is not responsible for any shutdowns or other interruptions in the operation of StatBank.

Software

The PC-Axis program (from Statistics Sweden)  is copyright protected, and the user is not permitted to modify, hire out or otherwise take legal possession of the software.
