Information for students and junior researchers

Statistics Norway’s Research Department provide research opportunities for master students, doctoral students as well as postdoctoral researchers within economics, sociology, and human geography. PhD- and postdoc-positions are regularly announced through standard job market channels. Master students who want to gain research experience by writing a relevant empirical master thesis at Statistics Norway may contact their preferred research group in the Research Department for more information. Note that this opportunity is limited to students at Norwegian universities or colleges.
